I actually consider myself "bicraftual" (haha) - I can knit AND crochet. I actually learned how to crochet first, in 2006, and learned to knit shortly thereafter. I've stuck mostly to knitting because there are just more patterns available that appeal to me. I've completed over a hundred projects, small and large, since then.
Some of my proudest moments of crafting.
I'm a member of Ravelry, an online database/social networking site for fiber artists (knitters, crocheters, spinners, dyers, etc.) It's a FANTASTIC resource, and I'm on it just about all the time. I have separate friendships with people I've met solely through Ravelry, and have even met up in person with some of them, to do knitting-related things.
